Reel render status and retry in the Mediathek

Follow a live Reel Builder render and retry a failed, tracked render from the Mediathek (Library).

Studio · 1 min read

Open the workspace navigation item „Mediathek“ in German or “Library” in English. Both lead to /library, where Reel Builder render jobs keep showing progress even after you leave the builder.

Check a running render

  1. Find the reel marked „In Produktion“ / “In production”. The grid card also says „Wird erstellt“ / “Generating”.
  2. Read the current stage and percentage on the card or in the list, for example „Untertitel setzen · 42%“ / “Timing captions · 42%”.
  3. When the render finishes, the item remains in the Mediathek so you can open the completed draft for refinement.

Retry a failed render

  1. Find the reel marked „Braucht Aufmerksamkeit“ / “Needs attention”. Ferdi shows a safe public error instead of an internal provider message.
  2. In the grid, choose „Render wiederholen“ / “Retry render”. In the list, choose „Wiederholen“ / “Retry”.
  3. Keep the Mediathek open while the control says „Wird wiederholt…“ / “Retrying…”. The item refreshes from the durable render job after it is queued again.
The retry control appears only for a failed item that is still linked to a tracked Reel Builder render job. Ferdi has no separate generic “export queue” / „Export-Warteschlange“ in the current UI; exporting a finished result is a separate action.
